The Nepa: Dance Academy (NDA) Junior Crew has achieved outstanding success while representing Nepal at the GLX Dance Championship 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand. Competing against participants from more than 50 countries, the Nepali team secured medals in multiple categories.
The 16-member NDA Junior Crew competed in three divisions and won first place in the Teens Division and Mega Crew Division, while earning second place in the Junior Team Division. The academy also announced that the team received the awards for Best Outfit and Best Choreography.
Expressing pride in raising the Nepali flag on an international stage, the academy thanked its coaches, parents, teachers, and well-wishers for their support. Founded in 2010 by Rina Maharjan and Rohiya Maharjan, Nepa: Dance Academy reaffirmed its commitment to promoting Nepali dance talent on international platforms in the years ahead.
The team members who participated in the competition were Atit Neupane, Trinav Maharjan, Finju Tamang, Sanyam Gurung, Pasang Tamang, Fursang Lama, Banjala Maharjan, Bimisha Dongol, Mayra Prajapati, Samaira Shakya Gurung, Omitya Maharjan, Shalin Shrestha, Maanki Tamang, Ritika Manandhar, Suyash Kannaujiya, and Pari Shahi.
The team was led by Rohiya Maharjan and Srishti Maharjan, while the choreography was created by Srishti Maharjan, Swastik Aryal, and Saroj Moktan.
